More great news for Fantawild Animation’s mega-hit Boonie Bears: The show’s huggable, lovable brown-bear duo was ranked among the 10 Most Popular Cartoon Images of China at the 4th Shenzhen Animation Festival.
The distinction, awarded jointly by the State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television of China (SARFT); the China Animation Association; and the Shenzhen Media Group celebrates the most captivating imagery featured in today’s most successful original cartoons.
All candidates for the honor were judged on the basis of image, popularity, manner of expression, industry value, and social influence by a panel of top animation professionals.
That fun-loving bear-pair, Briar and Bramble, fended off a forest-full of competitors to clinch a spot on this year’s list, and given Boonie Bears’ remarkable ratings in markets throughout the nation, there’s no doubt that this most recent recognition is well-deserved.
And so the evidence continues to confirm it: Briar and Bramble rule the woods—and the hearts of children across the country!
