A New High Speed Train Facilitates Tourists from Shenzhen to Fantawild Park in Ganzhou

On December 10^th, a new high speed train line connecting the cities of Ganzhou and Shenzhen opened. In the terminal station, Shenzhen North Railway Station, huge advertisements could be seen promoting Ganzhou Fantawild Glorious Orient, the first high-tech amusement park in China to be themed around the country’s recent history of revolution and modernization. Many passengers stopped to read “welcome to Ganzhou, an ancient city with Hakka culture and communist history.”

The new train line connects the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau to the historical city of Ganzhou. This means that tourists from Shenzhen and the surrounding areas now have a new option for the weekends. Ganzhou Fantawild Glorious Orient has become a new tourist destination where visitors can enjoy the unique charm of culture showcased in the park.

Thanks to the new train line, the two provinces of Guangdong and Jiangxi are included in a ‘2-houre conomic zone’. People in cities along the route, such as Shenzhen, Huizhou,and Heyuan, can easily visit the park during their free time.

As the first park built by Fantawild Holdings Inc. to be themed around China’s recent struggles, Ganzhou Glorious Orient combines culture with advanced technology to present well-known stories. More than 10 immersive attractions, including Old Summer Palace, Zhi Yuan,Heroine, and Railroad Warriors, provide visitors with a truly unique cultural experience.

The theater show Old Summer Palace takes visitors back in time to witness the magnificent Summer Palace and revisit that eventful period of history. As well as many themed attractions, the park also has 6 themed areas, including Dynasty's Mark, Urban Memory and Remarkable Days. Visitors are transported back in time to Ruijin Street where slogans of the communist party can be seen, Shanghai Street where foreign goods are found everywhere, Peking Street where there is a touch of Beijing culture, and bustling Hong Kong Street. Guests can also enjoy themed performances throughout the day and amazing firework shows at night.

The park not only boasts brand new attractions, but also has more than 20 family friendly attractions, over 200 landscape designs, as well as an array of restaurants and shops. Visitors can experience a one-stop tourist destination which includes dining,shopping and entertainment. The Park Receives Praise from Media and Attracts Many Visitors

The unique theme of the park has attracted many visitors since it opened. Within its first 5 months of operation, Ganzhou Fantawild Glorious Orient received nearly a million visitors. Included in that total are 150,000 guests from government organizations and enterprises who visited for teambuilding activities and 100,000 elementary and middle school students on field trips. The park is having a great social and economic impact on the local community.  

People’s Daily ran a featured report on the park in May. It stated “Fantawild combines education with the experience of an amusement park. The company’s scale effect of an industrial chain has become apparent”. Later, it went on to say “visitors can feel the charm of culture in tourism and become more confident of their heritage”. Other popular media outlets such as China Media Group,Xinhua News, Guangming Daily and China News, as well as many local news outlets, also gave positive remarks on the new park.

Ganzhou Fantawild Glorious Orient intends to fully utilize the new train line as a bridge connecting the Greater Bay Area with this important cultural attraction. Overall, this will create more convenient and higher quality service for tourists to enjoy.
