Fantawild has joined forces with the popular singer Angela Chang, songwriter Roc Chen, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to mastermind the new song “Thirty Thousand Years Ago” for its latest feature film Boonie Bears: Blast into the Past. The film will premiere in Chinese cinemas on February 5th, 2019, the start of the Chinese New Year. With breathtaking music, creative animation, and loveable characters, the movie is sure to entertain. To give audiences a taste of the film, Fantawild has released a music video of the astonishing new song.

Years ago, Angela Chang inspired audiences with her sweet yet powerful song “Invisible Wings”. Once again her comforting voice and the poetic lyrics of “Thirty Thousand Years Ago” inspire love and warm the soul.

The score for the film was written by Roc Chen, famous for his work in A Bite of China and Once Upon a Bite, two popular Chinese documentary programs. A rising “Chinese Star” in the music industry, Roc Chen tailored a series of spectacular symphonies throughout the film.

In addition, Fantawild invited the world-class Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to perform for the film. Founded in 1946 as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, it was honored with the title “Royal Orchestra” in 1966. The orchestra has worked extensively with world-class musicians and has an international reputation as one of the best. Over the past five years, it has toured over 30 countries.

When asked about the song, Leon Ding, the director of Blast into the Past, expressed; “With the orchestra’s performance, the ancient world in the film appears three-dimensional and lively with a rich sense of wilderness.”

In the newly released music video, Chang’s ethereal voice awakens dreamy blue butterflies that take the Boonie Bear brothers, Briar, Bramble, and their friend Vick thirty thousand years into the past. Viewers get a chance to immerse themselves into a dangerous, primitive world by getting a first-hand glance of trumpeting mammoths, ruby encrusted turtles and other animals from the past. In the movie the bears and Vick make new friends and enemies, including a playful wolf pup named Feifei, voice by popular Chinese actress Lareina Song. In exchange for help finding his way home, Briar agrees to help Feifei on her quest for some mysterious “Courage Fruit”, and together they build a strong friendship and find the true meaning of bravery.

Renowned actress Lareina Song, who voices the role of Feifei, brings an intuitive performance that brings to life Feifei’s good nature and strong determination. Her role brings a whole new level of humor and tension to the movie as her acting shines through this tiny wolf that searches for courage.

In addition to these announcements, three international posters with the theme of lookout have been released for overseas markets.

The Boonie Bears films have always performed outstandingly in the box office. The series has received average ratings of over 8.4 on Taopiaopiao and 9.1 on Maoyan, and constantly secured one of the top 2 spots in ratings among counterparts released at the same time. With a first-rate production team and high-caliber arrangements, positive reviews are a safe bet for Blast into the Past. Come to theaters on February 5th, and get ready to be blast into an epic prehistoric adventure that you’ve never seen before!
